2023-2024 AAF Viking Athlete Scholarship Application

Amundsen Athletics Foundation Scholarship Program

The Amundsen Athletics Foundation Scholarship Program was established in 2021 to recognize and support Amundsen High School student athletes attending post-secondary educational institutions or programs.  Scholarships are supported by donations made throughout the year to the Foundation.  The Scholarships provide ongoing motivation for student athlete excellence and a favorable reflection of Amundsen High School for student athletes as alumni and emerging community leaders.

Scholarship Component
The award provides an Amundsen High School senior athlete with a scholarship of $1,000 to assist with the cost of post-secondary education.  The number of scholarships awarded each year is determined by the level of funding ($1,000 increments) accumulated in the student scholarship fund by February 1 of each year in coordination with the AAF Board of Directors and AHS Athletic Directors. This year AAF will be awarding 4 scholarships to eligible senior athletes.
